Yoga Therapy has elements of physical and occupational therapy, self-massage to release trigger points and connective tissue restrictions as well as stretching, yoga postures, meditation and relaxation techniques. Sessions are done fully clothed in a private space with a trained Yoga Therapist, skilled in helping people to reduce/eliminate physical and emotional pain and suffering.

Cathy received her Yoga Therapy training with Susi Hately of Functional Synergy, Robin Rothenberg Yoga Therapy for Low Back Pain, Judith Lasater, Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga, and Liz Koch, an International expert on the psoas.  Yoga Therapy sessions with Cathy will help guide you from pain to a state of ease and comfort. Having herself journeyed through the difficult path of persistent pain, she brings a deep understanding of pain and the far reaching implications of that Yoga Therapy has elements of physical and occupational therapy, self-massage to release trigger points and connective tissue restrictions as well as stretching, yoga postures, meditation, breath work and relaxation techniques. Sessions are done fully clothed in a private space with a trained Yoga Therapist, skilled in helping people to reduce/eliminate physical and emotional pain and suffering. Yoga Therapy works as a complimentary treatment to other healing modalities being used to get out of pain. Her areas of specialty are:

• persistent pain
• pelvic issues including: frequency/urgency/retention, stress incontinence, sexual disorders)
• Sacro-Iliac (S.I.) pain
• piriformis syndrome
• rectus diastasis
• anxiety
