When Sue realized the tremendous benefit gained from doing Pilates; more energy, strength, flexibility and most importantly, free from the back pain she had from a degenerative spinal disc, she decided to start her Pilates instructor training, completing Mat and Reformer training in 2010, Trapeze Table in 2012, Chair and Barrels in 2014.  One of her most recent continuing education classes focused on helping those with degenerative neurological conditions.

Sue teaches group classes, private sessions and Introduction to Equipment Based Pilates.  She has been teaching at Body & Soul for 5 years.

Sue’s Invitation: Come to Pilates to learn, workout and have some fun!  Leave feeling physically and mentally better about yourself and the day ahead of you!

Malia is a familiar face to some of you as she has been practicing at Body & Soul over the last 10+ years.  For the past 15-years Malia has spent most of her time in SE Asia living in Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong.  Most recently, with the encouragement of the Body & Soul instructors, she has checked off an item on her bucket list—“to become a certified Pilates instructor.”

Through 14-months of study and practice  Malia earned a Stott Pilates teaching certificate in April 2015 granting her the opportunity to teach Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Barrels and Stability Chair.  In June 2015, she continued her education by completing the Injuries and Special Populations course.

Meet Meghan HERE

Meghan began practicing Pilates in 2009 in an effort to build core strength, eliminate minor knee pain and relieve stress. Through the practice she also gained whole body strength, flexibility and balance along with a new sense of confidence of what her body is capable of. Over the years it has become her passion and she completed her mat training through Balanced Body in October of 2013, her Reformer 1 and 2 trainings in 2015 and also became a certified yoga teacher through Body & Soul in December of 2014. Meghan is excited to share her Pilates experience with you.
